Welcome to February

I love short months! February...not only a short month, but a vacation month,the Superbowl, Valentine's Day, President's Day and this year....a leap year. Hopefully we will leap into an early spring.

Are you ready for the Big Game on Sunday? Since when is the Super Bowl played inFebruary? February is the month we start baseball!! Remember when baseball started when football was over, and basketball wasn't played in June? Football didn't start until baseball was over....now, the World Series is heading to November, the Superbowl is in February...and it looks like the NBA playoffs are heading toward the 4th of July.

So I sat down last night to put together a little movie featuring...you guessed it, the Pats and the Giants. Got all my pictures from the last big showdown at Giants Stadium, and got my music. But last night it was not gonna happen. I forgot Windows Moviemaker will not import MP4 or Mpeg 4 files....so...no itunes!!!

Thank goodness there are software engineers who care about this sort of thing out there, because Microsoft has no solution as of yet. What's up with that? Do they know how many people use Movie maker AND itunes??

So for now, it's like...go to the movie and turn on the BOSE for sound effects. We'll keep you posted on that one...

Remember that nothing is as simple as it should be, nor is it as simple as you think it's going to be. I am hoping that eventually if I run into enough road blocks I will either a: learn to take an alternate route the first time, or b: remember what needs to be done along the way..kinda like a secret passcode to get through the seemingly invisible crack in the massive pile of concrete standing in my way.Because running up against a road block...having to look up directions for alternate routes, turning around, figuring out how to navigate the new and improved route just slows me down. And the learning curve can be quite steep.
