Okay..so I have been told I need to rest, take it easy, don't work out so "aggressively." What? The good news is I have been xray'd pretty much from head to toe...well, almost..and all is well. Exept for the sinus thing and the neck thing and the upper back thing. So rest. Take it easy for 3-4 weeks. Grrrrrrrr...
So I am going to the gym to start walking. How boring is that? Even with the television, and the itunes and a "walk 9 holes of golf" program, it is still not something I am looking forward to. We will have to revisit the whole resting thing. I have rested a week. That should be good.
So we were in search of a Wii last night...that is the latest, greatest form of exercise, right? If you can find one to buy! I think the real form of exercise is in the hunt. Drive to the mall, park, walk from store to store....good exercise. If you get to the store late morning, Mon -Friday, and you race to the store to be one of the first people there, you might just actually score a Wii. That ought to get your heart rate up! Then the real fun begins. I will be looking for a Wii to buy to play virtual golf. Is that non-aggressive enough? I don't know..you'd have to see my golf swing. Pretty aggressive.
So my question is...how do you strengthen your core if you cannot put strain on your back or your neck. Good question, right? We'll get back to you on that one. After I go to the gym.
